Help with installation

Hello,
I have just started using WP and know nothing about IT ... sorry if my questions are too "childish" or require really detailed answers ... I would really appreciate if you took some time to help me out ... didn't get all the answers in the documentation and videos I was able to find.
1. I just uploaded Easy!Appointments unzipped file on my FTP server in the "plugins" category. Is it the right place to upload it to ? Instructions "upload them to the appropriate directory on your server" are absolutely unclear to me ... is the appropriate directory somehow related to the SQL database I just created ? Should it at least be in the category "public_html" and "wp-content" or no ? If I need to move it out of "plugins", can I just copy the folder and past it to another place ?
2. Which one exactly is the storage category to which I need to give "777" permissions ? Is it the Easy!Appointments folder itself ?

Hello!
Sure, here is some additional info
1. I would recommend that you install EA in the same folder as WP, (e.g. in the same folder wp-config.php is)
2. 777 would work, but it is not the best value you can set. Go for changing the owner to www-data or similar and set a 644 for rolder and 755 for files
Of course both of these differ from environment to environment and this is the reason the documentation cannot promote the exact values you need.

Thank you so much for taking time to answer and help. A few videos I found on the internet showing the installation process were very useful to me. It looks like everything is working and I am very happy :)) Still, a couple of questions.
1. The different colors I assign to the services don't seem to update anywhere. All my services are described with the same color. Is there something I can do ?
2. Is it possible to customize the calendars according to services and not providers ? E.g. have different questions for the customer to answer during the booking process depending on the service or have different schedules depending on the service (if a certain service is provided only on certain days of the week for instance).
3. I would like to recommend you to have on the official page a link for people to send you the amount of money of their choice to thank you. I would happily do it if I decided to definitely transit from Calendly to EA :)))

Please, ignore my question Nr 1. For some reason I thought that different colors have to appear on the user's end as well, but they do appear correctly on my calendar :)))
