I am running totk on yuzu I have already clear the caches and I switched from opengl to vulkan and im positive the game is on 1.2.1, Its also only the the depths where this is a problem everywhere else looks fine.
Hi I was wondering if anyone has tried out TOTK on yuzu and switch and I want to know what the better experience would be, on one hand Switch will provide easy updates and easier to manage saves, while on the other I have a pretty beefy PC and depending on the number of glitches yuzu introduces it might be worth it to go one way or the other, any advice is more than welcome. Ive already bought the game and am in decision anxiety.
Has anybody had their yuzu just crash instantly after starting it? It worked fine on my i7 laptop, but won't even launch on my AMD ryzen desktop (launchbox). It just flashes the program window real fast and shuts down right away.

I've been trying to play Super Mario Odyssey on yuzu and my controller (Switch Pro) keeps malfunctioning. While playing it'll lock the sticks into specific positions or press buttons at random, causing the character to randomly run in circles, crouch, jump or the camera to move around.
So Im just wondering whether atm if Yuzu Is playable enough to use that or just continue with my switch. I've been in an emulator run here, I was about to start Pokemon Ultra Sun on my 3ds and I thought hey what the heck why not try Citra so I started up Ultra Sun at 1440p with an HD texture pack and omg it's a game changer, especially comparing my 3ds screen to my monitor poke.on sun on my 3ds looks like a bunch of lines. Next up I did BOTW on Cemu 1440p at 60fps after having played through it on switch and man I love it. Ive never used Yuzu or Ryujinx or whatever that other one was, so I have no idea what the status of it is. My PC is an RTX 2070 with Ryzen 3700x at 4.4ghz. Is pokemon sword and say animal crossing working great or should I just continue on my switch? Sorry if this stuff gets asked all the time, I'd just like a rundown on the status so far. Thanks

Does using Yuzu affect the nintendo switch its self in anyway?? breaking its software or making it un-useable unless its being emulated, example could i emulate playing LoZBotW on my pc and if i need to leave or go on a trip could i just use my switch and not have to emulate it or see that issues have occured after the emulation forcing me to only use the emulator (sorry im not really good with computers)
The incredible team building the Nintendo Switch emulator yuzu have a new progress report out for June 2023 and it's quite a doozy. Yes June, they're running over previous work. As usual, it's a lengthy read full of technical speak and exciting features and fixes so I'm here to summarise the important bits for you.
Usage: Launch yuzu from your desktop app-launcher or run the command yuzu from the terminal. If you have already installed yuzu by alternative means, use the command snap run yuzu. To launch yuzu-cmd, run the command snap run yuzu.yuzu-cmd.Enable the relevant permissions. Yuzu folder location: $HOME/snap/yuzu/common/.local/share/yuzu
To install both the prod.keys and the Switch firmware, start Yuzu in the Steam Deck's desktop mode, and if it is the first time you start the emulation tool, it'll warn you about the missing files. Next, click on File in the top left corner, then to Open yuzu folder, and here open up the keys folder. This is where you want to drop both the prod.keys and title.keys files.
As for the Switch firmware, navigate back to the yuzu folder, then go to nand/system/Contents/registered/ and drag in all the files of your firmware. There are a whole bunch of them. Restart Yuzu, and you're good to go.
