Java with Power builder

Location:- Silver Spring, MD

Visa:- H1B ( passport copy mandatory), GC and USC.

Please don’t send resumes with out "power builder" experience 

The following job description should cover the resources required in Silver Spring.

Please note that we need one resource in Silver Spring who can support a large Power Builder application.

Java/J2EE and C, C++ developer with strong Oracle database skills

Design and code from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement moderately complex to highly complex software applications.

Under general direction, devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities.

Position will be developing enhancements and supporting an application utilizing Java/J2EE, Web Services, C, C++, Crystal Reporting, and PowerBuilder.

 

B.S. Computer Science/Information Technology, M.S. preferred

• 6 -10+ years of post-education IT Software Development experience (minimum 6 years of professional experience after graduation from college)

• 5 + years of Oracle Database Skills - Experience writing complex stored procedures, functions and performance tuning

• 5 + years of Java/J2EE Skills - Experience developing Struts based applications using Tag lib, Validation framework, Tiles framework and custom tags

• 2+ years of experience in Web Services (SOAP & RESTful) interfaces

• 2+ years of experience in Javascript – Node.js, React.js, Angular.js

• 2+ years of UNIX shell script experience

• 2+ years of experience in HTML and AJAX

• 2+ years of experience in C and C++

• Experience with WebLogic

• Experience with workflow analysis, design and implementation is a plus

• Experience with Crystal Reporting is a plus

• Experience with PowerBuilder is a plus

• Experience with Telecommunications Switching technology is a plus

• Experience in production support - viewing and analyzing configuration/log files

• Ability to manage multiple assignments

• Superior written and oral communication skills
