Please be advised, I am aware that many of you have changed units and/or relocated altogether. My email distro list will not be updated until March 1, when the Council certifies the recharters. Until, then you may get these emails. Please feel free to let me know of you no longer wish to receive them because you are no longer serving Boys Scouts in East Trinity Trails District. I will do my best to remove you from the list prior to the final recharter certification.
Recharter –
Recharter season is closed. In order to help make the process easier next year, I am sending every unit that has Scoutbook.com access an invite to accept me as their Unit Commissioner (in Scoutbook.com). Please approve and verify the position with your unit. This will allow me the ability to see the membership in the unit that you have on file and compare that to the membership BSA has on file. I can assist in notifying you of any membership additions that BSA should be apprised of prior to a surprise at recharter. Also, it will allow me to contact your unit leadership via Scoutbook.com.

As reminder, Roundtable Big Rock will be presented by Phillip Norton. He will talk with us about the Webelos to Scout transition.
The Cub Roundtable will be learning about Aqua Cubs, in preparation for Summer. The Boy Scout Roundtable will be doing a chuck-box show and tell. We ask any and all Scout Troops to bring your box to show off! This will allow all of us to get a “best practices” feel for the night.
Our next Roundtable is at Celia Hays Elementary at 1714 Tannerson Dr, Rockwall, TX 75087, on March 9, 2017 at 7:30 PM. The Cracker Barrel starts at 7:30 PM, the Flag Ceremony starts at 7:45 PM. I look forward to seeing everyone at Roundtable!
