RPD crime prevention zoom meeting on sideshows

An RPD crime prevention meeting on the issue of sideshows is scheduled for Wed. Oct. 23 at 5:00 pm via zoom. Representatives from the Police Dept. and Public Works Dept. will be discussing the proactive measures Richmond is implementing to address this issue. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions. I will try to forward the zoom link, but I don’t know if that will work through this Google Group. On another topic, I have a request for everyone who has signed up for East Richmond Watch. Please let me know that you are there and reading this message by replying with a simple yes. I set up this Google Group and have sent out a couple of messages, but have heard back from only a handful of people. In addition, I’ve spoken to a few who didn’t know how to access Google Groups and therefore had not seen the conversations at all. Before I resort to a large number of individual emails, it would help to identify who is getting these messages and who isn’t.
