Hi Folks,
RPD's outstanding Crime Prevention Manager, Michelle Milam, has announced that the department is planning to conduct monthly crime prevention meetings. She would like to know what safety and quality of life topics people want covered. She would also like to hear about neighborhood priorities so that she can share them with our beat officers.
It would be great if you post your questions to this group so I know you are interested and engaged. I will pass them on. You can also email her directly:  mmi...@richmondpd.net

Hi David,
Thanks for this information.  Here're a few of my top priorities to discuss -mostly basic safety issues.
1. Home safety tips?
2. Best way to reach neighbors quickly if a situation arises?
3. How do we tell whether a a situation is worth contacting police about?
4. I think an actual in-person gathering of our neighbors would be really valuable - just so we can know and recognize each other. And I fell that face-to-face makes everything/everyone more real. How best to do this? Block party?
I'm sure others will have ?'s and issues.
Again - thanksfor your efforts David!
Warm wishes,
Diana Stork and Teed Rockwell
