Hi all,

We are currently recruiting for Oxfam Speakers in the  East London area. Do you think you could spread the below email amongst any friends or contacts you might have? There is also a poster attached.That would be fabulous! I hope you are well!


Oxfam is currently recruiting for Oxfam Speakers. Speakers represent Oxfam in delivering talks and workshops in schools and youth groups in the speaker’s local area. Oxfam will manage requests before passing them on to speakers.

Oxfam speakers work to inform young people and their youth leaders or teachers about the causes of global poverty, and the actions they can take to shape a better world and thus engage them in Global Citizenship.

We are looking for people with good interpersonal and communication skills that motivate and inspire audiences, a flexible and independent approach to working and experience of working with young people.

Speakers are supported by Oxfam through a two day training course, a full CRB check, a schools resources handbook, ongoing support from the Youth and Schools campaigners and travel expenses within your local area.

The deadline is the 31^st of May, interviews are in June and training is in July.
