We are going to host a mayoral forum!
On July 1st from 7:00-8:30 PM in Madison Park (save the date!), Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, Park Shore Retirement Community, and the Madison Park Community Council are hosting a forum for the Seattle mayoral candidates with support from Feet First, the Bicycle Alliance of Washington, Cascade Bicycle Club, and the Seattle Bike Blog. If you are interested in helping recruit more supporting organizations I would love to help you this week - let me know.
In true Seattle Neighborhood Greenways spirit, we would like to include everyone who is working to make family-friendly streets a reality in the planning of this forum - we know you have valuable insights and ideas! And yes, we really are counting on your input to make the Livable Streets Mayoral Forum a success!
