Hey sound people, band people, singers, testimony people, and friends,
Easter on the Quad is in less than two days. Here are a few things to know. Please read through the whole thing!
1)
Make sure you all know what's going on. Make sure you know when you're supposed to go on the stage. If you're a band/singing person, make sure you know how your parts go. Ideally, have everything memorized. If you're a sound person, make sure you have the schedule down. It would be smart to print it out and have it taped to the table.
Here's the schedule of the service.
Here are the chords and lyrics. I've attached the program. Let me know if you have questions.
2)
Sound people will be experimenting with the sound equipment tomorrow at the Mott House. Email Tim Hu (
apoca...@gmail.com) about that if you want to be there. If we need to buy any equipment, we will buy them on Saturday. On Easter Sunday, sound people are arriving at
8:30am. If you can't make it by then, it's okay, but come as soon as you can.
3)
Band people will arrive at
9:00am. We will setup and start the sound check by
9:30am. We will then run through the instrumental part of the set. If you can't make it by then, it's okay, but come as soon as you can.
4)
Singers, please come by
10:15am. Again, if you can't make it by then, it's okay, but come as soon as you can. We will run through
Where is the Love,
Amazing Grace, and
Oh Happy Day.
5)
Testimony people, please come by
10:45am. We will go over the cues to make sure that you are going up on the stage at the right time.
6)
Everybody (unless you're occupied), we will have a prayer meeting backstage at
11:00am.
7) If you are free all morning on Sunday, please come as early as possible to help us out!
We need to set up a stage, 500 chairs, and sound equipment. We also need to stick contact cards into 500 programs.
8) Invite your friends!
9) If you haven't stopped by the prayer tent yet, I encourage you to do so. It went up on Thursday night, and it will be there until Sunday morning.
To God be the glory,
Larry
P.S. Dean, Brian+Ashley: Can you forward this to your respective groups? Thanks.
