Hello!

I know I got to talk/see to a few of you after the Easter on the Quad event, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you. I know this event was spear-headed by COAH but I don't know all of the people who were working to organize this, so please forward this to anyone else who put in a lot of time and energy organizing/leading things for this event.

I had a couple of really close friends who are non-Christian who came to the event and really enjoyed it. I was initially surprised they decided to come granted they don't have any sort of spiritual/Christian background. I was so happy they were able to hear about God's love and the gospel today through the speakers, so thank you all for sharing!!!

The follow-up/conversations I've had the rest of the day have been so encouraging. God is definitely working in the hearts of my friends and I am just ecstatic. They told me they were really glad this event was held and I really just wanted to share their gratitudes/thanks with you all. :)

Happy Easter!

Sincerely,
Elaine

Thanks for forwarding this. At the ILR prayer meeting today, there was also a lot of enthusiasm about the service. I can't recall all that was said, but one ILRie was surprised when some friends accepted her invitaton to join her at the service. She was even more surprised by how positive their response to the service was, and expects follow-up conversations to take place. Another was shocked by how big the turnout was despite the rain, and thought the weather actually caused people to stick/bond together. Another said friends he invited really liked the music. There were a number of people who thought the music and testimonies were especially great.

Among the 10-12 ILR students who came, there is a strong desire to finish the semester strong.  Just a thought, but perhaps COAH (or Larry) could send out an email asking folks to make a strong showing at the Monday EV at RPCC tonight??

Yeah! Thanks for forwarding this! I'm so glad to hear people were able to have meaningful conversations about the gospel with their non-Christian friends after the service. And that they reacted to the service positively. PRAISE THE LORD!!! Let's finish out the semester strong, in His strength.
