Timeline, Gather, and Weyrling ages! READ ME.

Hi guys!

The holidays and beginning-of-semester hijinks are pretty much over, so we're getting this ball rolling again.

Mostly arbitrarily, we're starting at 01.01.2762. The ratio is still 2:1, meaning two days IRL pass for one day IC. Fuzzy time is still, by far, our best friend. Our next Threadfall is 01.08.2762.

All Gather plans can take place as usual. So dances, races, crafts, general mayhem! GO NUTS.

As of 01.01.2762, we have two Weyrling classes in play. The Myth Busters are 10 months old as of 01.15. At month 8 (calendar 12.16.2761), they had their first mounted flight and first hunt. At month 9 (calendar 13.16.2761), they moved into their own weyrs. This month, they will do their first between trip and most importantly, they will have all restrictions lifted. You care about this because 01.01 is the Turn's End Gather.

Two weeks doesn't make a big difference, but it is the rule, so I'zaj will mandate that every Weyrling have a big heart to heart with his or her dragon and confirm that whatever plans are in mind are acceptable. Subalth will be checking on the dragons periodically to make sure of this. As long as the dragon is okay, there will not be punishment for drinking or carousing.

The Game Changers are 17 months old as of 01.20.2762. At month15 (calendar 12.20.2761), they flew their first Threadfall on 12.24.2762. They graduate next month.

As usual, if anyone wants a backdated event post, or if anyone wants a big Gather post (as opposed to making individual threads), let me know, and I will fire it off. :)

NOTE ON THE WEBSITE: We are still mid-transition to the new site, easternweyr.net. All updates are taking place there so we don't have to double the workload. Please take a look around the new site and provide feedback. (Style/colors/etc are last on the to-do list.)

If you look on the old freewebs site, and your character has had a birthday in the last few months, up their AND THEIR ADULT DRAGON'S age by 1 turn. This will be automated on the new site soon. YAY!

If there was an official shut down, I missed it. I thought it was more like an unofficial peter out. Which can be remedied if we start posting again. : )

Who dun what? Seriously though I hope we can get it up and running. Can't rightly remember who is who after all this time but do we still have any of the admin types around? Wont help to start posting if we can't update the site or have a hatching....which will make Ozmyr a very grumpy young man.  :P

Collin and I are the admins, and yes, we is here. :) The site belongs to Collin and the hatchings... will happen whenever we have enough Candidates to make it worth it, really. >.>  Having half the babies end up adoptable isn't fun for anyone.

However, if you'd like a Candidate to Impress and don't want too wait for an on camera hatching, I bet you could convince The Powers the Be to let you write an off camera Impression for yourself from one of the NPC clutches. Maybe.

Actually I did transfer a Weyrling in before things ground to a halt. Not sure where that class is at the moment. I was just wondering about Ozmyr mostly.  Anyway, I'll have to rub a few braincells together and try to work up a post or two for my boys.
