Actually being in a wing and flying thread was still rather new to the young brown rider. In a way it seemed like only yesterday that he had come to Eastern Weyr as something of a refugee. Those had been sad, hard times right after his fathers death. But the people here had taken he and Malyth and made them welcome. Though he would never forget the old tragedies they did lose some of their intensity as the time passed. Now he was actually feeling human again....fulfilled in a way. He had purpose and friends and of course his lifemate. Life could be much worse and the more he considered it he was rather satisfied with his lot in life.

((Good,)) he heard Malyth's sleepy rumble in his head.  A'ryk smiled as the brown was drifting off to sleep. It had been a relatively easy day as such things went but his dragon was tired and needed his rest. For his part A'ryk needed something to eat and maybe some companionship which had brought him to the dining hall.

"Evening everyone," he said, voice sounding more chipper than usual, as he made his way inside. Good moods were easier and easier to find these days and he wanted to revel in it a bit.
