Rymeron was just finishing lunch as he heard it.  A roar of challenge.  And an answer.  A burst of lust hit him an instant later and a wide grin spread across his face.  Sick!  Goldflight time.  He'd been waiting for this since the last Hatching, had been told it was simply AWESOME.  And now he was going to go have some fun.  Plus, he knew exactly who he wanted to have some fun WITH.

Good thing Rymeron was quick.  He was halfway back to the Candidate barracks before the flight begun in earnest, managed to make it unattached to the door he'd been looking for, the door hiding the prettiest little thing in the entire weyr.  Anomi.  Pretty, polite Anomi.  She'd be a fun lay.  Once she got over the spooks.  And hey, nothing like a goldflight for loosening up a choice lady.

"Hey, Anomi!" Rymeron called out, panting faintly, "Wanna come watch Xyxith with me?  I've heard it's a real good time."

OOC: I didn't know if you actually wanted Anomi in this or not but she can certainly show up, as can anyone else whose decided to come calling.

Not understanding at first what was happening Ozmyr had finished his lunch and was on his way outside when he heard the roar. Looking to the sky he quickly realized what it all meant though when he saw the largest dragon he had ever seen, and a golden one at that, flying toward the feeding grounds. When the lust hit him he was rooted to the ground for only a moment before something occured to him. If this was what he was thinking it was there was one particular girl he would want to find when things got REALLY interesting. Taking off for the barracks at a quick jog he soon arrived but was quite surprised to find Rymeron already there and knocking on her door.

"Rymeron?" he asked, growing a bit suspicious by the older boys presence. "I didn't know you knew Anomi...."

It was a dumb thing to say and he knew it but the poor lads mind hadn't actually caught up to all the sensations he was feeling yet.

(Ooc: Poor Ozmyr....there is all kind of room for this to go sideways and he could easily fall into both suitor and protectors role here. Poor neurotic kid. >< )

T'val had been having a nice time checking up on Anomi and her magnificent golden egg. It had been so nice of that queen to pick her for it's ownership. Tori couldn't think of a more deserving person than Anomi for such a gift. Luigith agreed; he had quickly picked up on Anomi as his human princess, especially after his rider's interest solidified. The echo of a dragon's roar from outside interrupted their conversation about her egg and what she might name her firelizard once she hatched, followed swiftly by a profound wave of lust. Tori didn't know much but he knew what that meant and he knew Anomi would want no part of it.

A few male voices outside the door only solidified Tori's need to get out of there and make sure other folks would respect Anomi's consent one way or the other. He wasn't free to play around anyway, even if it was only five days until restrictions were lifted and even if Luigith would have been more than happy for him to spend more intimate time with their princess. He wasn't going to push boundaries he wouldn't want broken.

"Oh, shards, it seems like a Goldflight's started." He looked about the room, making sure he had everything, and back towards her door. "I'll get out of here then. I wouldn't want something regrettable to happen just because of the influence of dragon hormones. Uhm..." T'val opened the door to see two boys outside, one - Rymeron - he recognized by face, but the other he didn't know. It seemed to him they were predators circling a choice kill before the poor lamb was even dead. "Do you want me to, uh, stand guard or something?" His voice cracked the slightest bit at the pressure he was exerting on controlling himself. "I don't have anywhere else to be, restrictions and all that."

Anomi had been really glad that T'val had come to check up on her, and the gold firelizard egg she was still somewhat shellshocked about receiving. It was really sweet of him. She'd met lots of kind, generous people since arriving at Eastern, and it was almost startling how many of them were *male.* Before coming here, she'd thought all Southern-born boys were, well...

A strange sensation coursed through her just as T'val said the goldflight was starting. Anomi glanced at T'val, her brow furrowed with confusion. Why should the goldflight starting mean he had to -

Oh wait. Oh. *Oh.*

Panic flared through her briefly, but she hastily reminded herself, no no, he'd just said he was leaving, he was a nice person and he was going to leave and not force himself on her.

And then he opened the door, and she saw Rymeron and Ozmyr, and why on Pern were they hovering right outside the door -

Goldflight.

Southern-born boys. Trapping her.

Anomi went dead white.

"P-please," she whispered, "please... please leave me alone! Go away!" She turned eyes that were quickly filling with tears to T'val, nodding frantically in answer to his question. T'val said he was leaving the room, and he was going to stand guard, and protect her. She could trust T'val, right? "D-don't... don't let them in here, please," she whimpered. She hugged the pot with her firelizard egg in it close against her chest, as if holding on to it would ward off danger.

For the first time since arriving at Eastern Weyr, she really, really wished Mikloran would just magically appear. She knew *he* would protect her - K'lor too, but he was in seclusion and couldn't - but T'val was saying he would stand guard (outside! outside the room!), so... so he'd protect her, right?

Ozmyr was trying to figure out what to say to Rymeron...preferably something that would make the other boy go away...when he was suddenly distracted by the door opening and seeing another boy in the room. The surprise was enough, at least for the moment, for his better sense to get the better of raging hormones. If it hadn't been the sound of her voice would have been. The words were spoken too low for him to hear but the young smith could make out one thing...the sound of fear in her voice.

It was an odd sensation for Ozmyr, and an uncomfortable place to be in. The flight lust was upon him of course but also the feeling of being a total jerk who would cause such fear for that poor sweet little girl. His cheeks were colored with shame and a quiet desperation.

"We have to leave Rymeron," he said quietly, hoping the other fellow would take the hint. "She has someone...we aren't welcome here."

He naturally assumed this unknown fellow, whoever he happened to be, was Anomi's boyfriend and that he and Rymeron had interrupted something and frightened her. Lucky guy....he better be nice to her. With that in mind he put a hand on Rymeron's shoulder and tried to urge the other fellow to follow him away from the door.
