The Red-throated Loon, Western Gull, and White-winged Scoters (there are 3 of them now) continued at Bridgeport Reservoir yesterday. I didn't see the Long-tailed Duck, but it very easily could have been there. Each Scoter was by itself, but they were within a few hundred yards of each other a short ways from the dam. The Gull was flying back and forth around the south shore, spending most of the time at the inlet of Robinson Creek (in the company of 12 Tundra Swans). It's great to see a new Mono County bird! The Loon was exactly where it was described to be, and was actively feeding the whole time i was there.
