Chestnut-sided Warbler at mono county park

Found in the cottonwoods next to the playground equipment. Observed after the sun had set, 5:30 PM.

A beautiful bird, lime green crown and back, bold yellow wingbars, extensively white below, held tail cocked frequently, moved around frequently through the cottonwoods. Also nearby was a Hermit Warbler and two Townsends. Located first by its incessant call note.

The Chestnut-sided Warbler continues at the mono lake county park in the same location as yesterday. 10:38 AM, Sunday.
