Locavores,

I’m looking for people who might want to order seed potatoes with me.
My dilemma is that
1. I’d like more than one variety
2. I only need about 2 lbs and that’s the minimum order
3. Substantial savings can be had if buying 4 lbs…or more of course.
(6 lbs are a 50% savings over the 2lb price.)

I’m looking at Seeds of Change, which is a great company in terms of
their ecological practices.

I’m flexible. But right now I’m looking at these two varieties.

Banana fingerlings
All Blue potato

And if I could just get a few, I’m VERY interested in the
Peruvian Purple fingerlings.

Then again, the German Butterballs sound good…oh, heck, just give me
one of each…

Anyone interested in doing a joint order?

Of course, if there is a more local source for interesting seed potato
varieties, I would be interested in that as well.

I ordered from ronniger's where I've gotten them before and just last night got a suggestion for another kind that I'd like to try.

I just put in order for 1/2 lb of three varieties, peruvian was not one of them but perhaps we could amend the order?  I'm giving some to Ruth and some to Linda so adding more varieties would expand the options.

Sure.  I'd be interested.  Is it too late to amend?

Another great letter in the Observer!!

Thanks, I haven't checked about possibility of amending - can do that tomorrow.
