FW: F-18s not listed as Eligible class in the NoR

All,
It appears that F-18s have been pulled from the Newport Regatta. Not sure if there was substantial interest or not, but it would have been nice to get some notice. We might be able to get back in if there is strong interest. If not, should we attempt a plan B?

Hi Skip,
Thank you for pointing this out- I will correct the NOR entry fee list. We pulled the F-18 from the regatta as we are 10 days out and nobody had registered. We added the Etchells who had 10 boats kicking around with nothing to do now that Annual Regatta is canceled.

Hi Matt,
I’ve just read the NoR and saw that:
4. ELIGIBILITY 4.1. The 2020 Newport Regatta® is open to all eligible sailboats in the following classes: Etchells, 505, VX One, Thistle, Laser and laser radial.
F-18s are not listed but they do appear in the entry fee section. Might cause confusion. I’m beating the bushes to get the entries going.
