Good Morning GOOD BEER Fans - and happy May!
THE PEDAL PALE ALE KEG RIDE IS FRIDAY MAY 14...Have you registered
yet?
My total lack of personal training and keg-pulling conditioning tells
me that it's almost time to ride. We're just 10 days from the big
day, and the pre-registrations are pouring in. As of now, we've got
over 250 people signed up for the ride, but I have a feeling there's
lots more to come.
That's where you come in. Forward this message to anyone you think
might like to come out for a group bike ride and a FRESH BEER on a
beautiful Spring evening (with any luck). Or maybe YOU are the one
who hasn't registered yet? Seriously, what are you waiting for? And
registering early gets you
Here's the event page - look for the registration link in red about
2/3 of the way down the page:

Every dollar you spend on registration goes straight to our two
deserving charities. There's no admin, no overhead, and we're kicking
in the beer of course.
WANT TO DO MORE THAN YOUR FAIR SHARE?
Maybe you'd like to ride in the front of the pack? Maybe you'd like
to be the FIRST of the first who will get a taste of this year's Pedal
Pale Ale? Maybe you'd like a nice 170lb excuse for why you're so out
of breath on a relatively short ride? Sounds like you might want to
pull a keg!
As you may have heard, this year we're auctioning off 3 Keg-Pulling
slots, and sending all those proceeds to our charities too. We'll
provide the trailer, we'll provide the keg, you provide the muscle and
the gumption to get the beer in place at our mystery destination. Bid
now, and for as little as $1 you'll get a chance to be a part of the
real action up at the front of the pack.
Here's the auction site:
http://kegride.winwinevents.com/ So get
bidding!
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REST OF THE GOOD BEER NEWS?
Here's the condensed version of all the news that's fit to drink:
Nooner Scottish Ale and Snow Melt have both kicked for the season,
East End Witte and Wheat Hop are now on tap, Pedal Pale Ale will be
released on May 14th (no duh!), and bottles of Illustration Ale will
be ready for an early June release. New Growler Covers, Beer Soap,
and Big Hop bike jerseys are all on the way - and later this summer,
we're jamming another fermenter into the building!
Look for a more "reconstituted" GOOD BEER News next month, but I'll
see you all on the keg ride before then, right?
Cheers,
Scott
