Next Friday (9/5) and Kol Nidre

Hi Minyan --

Summer is over (boo!) which means EB Minyan is back from vacation (yay!). Refreshed from an awesome camping trip, we're planning Shabbat davening/dinner next Friday (9/5) and Kol Nidre davening/learning on October 3. And we're trying hard to make both events more wheelchair accessible. Read on for details:

Kabbalat Shabbat and Community Potluck in Berkeley (more)
When: Friday, September 5, 7pm
Where: Finnish Hall, 1970 Chestnut Street, Berkeley
Services begin promptly at 7pm, and Shabbat dinner follows! Come early for a L'chayim at 6:45--whiskey or juice provided! (We'd love your help for setup too.) Please bring vegetarian a dish to share … bonus points if can let us know in advance what you’re bringing. B'tei avon!

Kol Nidre - Yom Kippur Evening (more info)
When: Friday, October 3, promptly at 7:20pm (doors at 6pm).
Where: Finnish Hall, 1970 Chestnut Street, Berkeley.

Donation: Whatever amount feels comfortable and appropriate ($36 suggested). Instructions will appear when you submit your RSVP.
What else? A study session with David Kasher (Senior Rabbinic Educator for Kevah) follows services.
Meal? Interested in hosting or being someone's guest for a seudah mafseket (pre-fast meal)? Let us know!
