Dear Friends,

With deep sadness want to inform you all that George Parel [Achenkunju] passed away yesterday 

night at Houston. He was 82 years old and the elder son of Uncle P.M.Mathew & Thankamma

aunty.. Uncle & Aunty were known as Mathaichan & Mama Mousie. They were like parents to most

of our parents  during their initial stages of settling down in Tanzania. They had three children,

George, Nirmala & Kunjumol.

Achenkunju leaves behind his wife Sophia & three children.

Lets express our deep condolences to the bereaved family.

Very sad news! Remember going to their house near Kozhencherry in the early eighties and he  took us all in a boat across. Very nostalgic memories... May his soul Rest In Peace. Condolences to the family.
