Dear Neighbors:  Many of us on the East Side and beyond are worried about the fate of Chauncey Peak. This beautiful mountain provides the scenic backdrop to Giuffrida Park and attracts nature-lovers to its trails. The Suzio York Hill quarry company owns most of the mountain and continues to excavate it. Someday, where once a natural treasure stood, there may be only a quarry pit. However, we also know that Suzio York Hill is an important local business that must prosper. Therefore, concerned citizens have urged city officials to seek a solution that balances the public and private interests. Please respond with your thoughts about this challenge.
