The City Council's Economic Development Committee will be considering
the proposed zoning regulation changes impacting the Hall Farm at its
April 20, 2010 meeting (5:30 pm in City Council chambers). Please do
your best to attend so any questions you have can be answered.
Councilor Brian Daniels was kind enough to provide a copy of these
proposed regulations, and I have uploaded these onto our Google Group
site for your review:

(Scroll to "Files" section and upload the file named "IDD PC Rec.
3-10-10.pdf")
Again, I believe the zone change is almost inevitable and if the city
follows the letter of these guidelines, it may not be too bad. But we
do have to stay vigilant...
Last month, my family presented me with a birthday gift -- tickets to
join them for the new Tom Sawyer production at Hartford Stage. The
tickets, of course, are for April 20(!), so I am unable to attend this
critical meeting. I do hope we can get 10-12 folks to attend and
respectfully demonstrate that the east side community still cares
about what is developed at the Hall Farm property.
Thanks for all your help -- call anytime.
Best regards,
Dave
