East Side Preservation team,

I hope everyone is well.  Just a brief note to inform you of a CT Siting Council public hearing on Tuesday to discuss the visibility of the power plant (details below).  This 'west side' issue certainly impacts Meriden's east side, so please attend and speak up if you can.  (Unfortunately, I will be in Toronto on business...)

Meanwhile, Google has been changing the "Google Groups" functionality; I hope this line of communications still works!

Thanks and all the best,

Dave

Please see below.  This is the City’s application seeking an order that the power plant on the mountain mitigate the visual impact of its building.  Unfortunately, I will be out of state on business that day, but you all should attend and speak if possible.  Please also forward this notice to anyone else that could attend.  Thanks.  --  Brian

Hilda, Cathy, Dante and I will be unable to attend the hearing this evening due to obligations in Hartford. We have submitted a delegation letter that supports the City's position. Go, fight, win !!!

Hello East Side Preservation Group,

I attended the meeting last night, and attached is what I said.  There were many persuasive speakers, and then there’s the front page pf the Record Journal which I have not had a chance to read yet.
