Night Work Notification
March 23 & March 30, 2026
Krameria & Colfax

Dear Colfax Neighbor,

We’re reaching out to inform you of overnight work near Krameria Street and East Colfax Avenue as part of the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit project. Work includes delivery of station arches on Monday, March 23, 2026, and installation work on Monday, March 30, 2026, for the Krameria station.

To ensure public safety and minimize impacts to daytime traffic and businesses, this work will take place overnight and will require closures along East Colfax Avenue between Kearney Street and Leyden Street during operations. Leyden Street, north of Colfax Avenue, will be closed between East 16th Avenue and Colfax Avenue. Kearney Street, south of Colfax Avenue, will be closed between East 14th Avenue and Colfax Avenue. Access at Krameria Street will also be restricted.

Detours will be in place to guide motorists around closures. Night work will occur between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.

What work will happen at night?

  • Monday, March 23, 2026 | Bus station arch deliveries and prep work
  • Monday, March 30, 2026 | Bus station arch installations

Important things to know:

  • Noise Monitoring: Noise levels will be monitored during night work to ensure compliance with permitted limits.
  • RTD Services: RTD will maintain 15/15L service with temporary stops as needed. RTD customers are encouraged to sign up for Service Alerts  for information on detours, delays, stop closures and other issues that may affect their route or station. You may visit https://app.rtd-denver.com/alerts for more information.
  • Business access will remain open throughout construction. Please obey all signage and flaggers.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important work to enhance transit along East Colfax.

Bryan,

To follow up regarding your multiple requests to use your @googlegroups.com email address for our e-blast distribution list.

We have made multiple attempts to add this address, and the system will not accept it. As we have previously explained, email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp do not permit distribution list addresses like Google Groups to be added to mailing lists. This is not a discretionary decision on our part, it is a platform policy tied to anti-spam compliance, consent requirements, and deliverability protections.

I understand that you would prefer to receive mass email communications through that address. However, in order to comply with platform rules and protect our ability to communicate with everyone, we can only add individual email addresses where the recipient has directly opted in.

You are currently subscribed, and you are welcome to share our signup link with members of your group so they can subscribe individually.

We appreciate your understanding that this is a compliance matter and not a personal decision.

Thank you.

East Colfax BRT Team

Thank you.

I'll unsubscribe. Not that you ever respond to any of my requests anyway.

Good luck with everything.
