Hello all,

Every single intersection is being fitted with what I perceive to be unnecessary beg-button posts that create obstructions & narrow sidewalk ramps when, in other areas, we just add them to the traffic signal posts or omit them completely by programming the signals to automatically cycle to a pedestrian crossing phase.

Why are we seeming installing so much unnecessary infrastructure that only seems to prevent us from installing sidewalk ramps that are 8ft wide & in line with the connecting sidewalk?

If you hear frustration in this Reel, it's because I am very frustrated.

Can we please change this installation pattern?

Can we stop installing beg-buttons in the pedestrian access route?

Can we please prioritize 8-ft wide sidewalk ramps & sidewalks as a minimum along Colfax as called out in the City of Denver Complete Streets Design Guidelines?

Thank you in advance for your help addressing this issue.

Respectfully,
Bryan Wilson
