Spreading the word about a great program for adults who are capable of working...just need an opportunity and some support.  Ken's Krew is a program through Home Depot where qualified adults with disabilities are given the opportunity to work at Home Depot with transitional support and training.  They are currently paying $11/hour, and enjoy benefits like vision, hearing, success sharing, educational scholarships, etc.  My 19 year old who is autism spectrum and is going to school at Chattahoochee Tech just went through this process, and will starting training in a few weeks.  Ken's Krew is only 1.5 years old here in Georgia (it's based out of NYC)...and they are looking to broaden their reach.

Ken's Krew enables individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to successfully enter the workforce by providing access to good jobs and to professional training and support to prepare for and sustain employment.
