John Kinyon has worked closely with NVC founder Marshall Rosenberg since 1998 and is co-founder of the Bay Area’s NVC organization. Since 2000, he has been a trainer for the International Center for Nonviolent Communication. In 2003, John and Ike Lasater collaborated on an innovative approach to teaching and learning NVC mediation. Shivani Gail Carroll began teaching NVC in 2006. She studied NVC Mediation with John Kinyon in 2008 and has completed two rounds of John and Ike Lassater’s year-long NVC Mediation training. Gail offers individual clients and couples NVC empathy and mediation through her private practice in the Boston area. She describes NVC as “walking the talk.”
