Hello East Coast Program MYL Community,
The Choosing Peace immersion program is starting again this Fall in Watertown, MA (Boston area) with the first 4-day intensive,
Conflict to Connection, in November 8-11, 2018 (EARLY BIRD rate ends Oct. 11 and tuition goes up $100 for all years in the program).
My focus in the intensives this year will be using the MYL skills and maps to create empathic community in our personal and work lives. I see engaging in practices and structures of empathic speaking and listening with people in our lives to be an essential aspect of the health and wellness movement that is now growing rapidly. Empathic community is something I see that the world needs desperately, more than ever at this time, to respond to the challenges we face.
As part of this focus, I will be helping people start
online practice groups (beginner, intermediate, advanced) with people in their personal and work communities, rather than offer online seminar courses as I have been. I hope this inspires many to start their own practice groups, virtual or in person. Check out the link to see the newly revised web page.
*** In the two newsletters, I plan to write about empathic community and the health and wellness movement, and provide as much valuable information (and inspiration) as I can. If you’re not on the mailing list(s), just click on the links below to sign up.
I hope you’re still connected and practicing with people from your MYL program year(s). If not, it’s never too late to reach out and reconnect.
In peace,
john
