Dear All,

Ike Lasater invites you to attend his March 16-17 workshop in Northampton, Massachusetts. Past and present immersion year participants are welcome to attend for free. All you need to do is register with us in advance of March 9.

Here is a link with the workshop description:

Ike will lead this new weekend workshop, which will focus on core NVC Mediation / Mediate Your Life skills. He is inviting immersion year participants to attend for free as a way of strengthening the Mediate Your Life community. He also invites you in the spirit of the workshop theme, which is all about practicing your skills so you can create stronger relationships with the people who share your daily life.

For sustainability's sake, we request that you bring along a friend or family member who will pay the weekend tuition ($175 for those who register before March 9). This is "The Family You Want" workshop, after all, so the fact of having someone take the workshop with you will double its impact.

The two-day, nonresidential workshop runs from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17 in Smith College's lovely campus center.

We'll break each day for lunch, at which point you can partake in any of Northampton's amazing restaurant options. (Northampton is a really sweet town, with an abundance of restaurants, shops, and cultural offerings.)

I'll be doing participant care for this event. So if you have any questions or if you want to register, please get in touch!

Warm regards,

Mary

Some of you have called to ask if you, as an immersion program participant, must bring a paying friend to this weekend's Smith College workshop in order to attend.

The answer is no. We encourage you to bring a new person with you. But it is not required.
You are very, very welcome whether or not you are able to bring someone else.

Our only request is that you let us know if you are coming. That will help us enormously as we prepare handouts, snacks, and other workshop logistics.

FYI: I'll be checking email through 3 p.m. on Friday and then will be off-line until after 10 p.m. on Friday night.

Warm regards,
Mary
