Hello,

It's supposed to snow again tomorrow...

Any updates on raising the snow priority level for the RTD 10 Route & the 11th Avenue Bike Lane?

Again, if we shift the RTD 10 Route from 12th to 11th, we can clear both at the same time.

DOTI can pay to update the bus stops along 11th Avenue.

Thank you in advance for addressing this issue.

Respectfully,

Hello,

The RTD 10 Route through Congress Park, Cheesman Park, & Cap Hill is extremely icy.

Can we please get it treated like 13th & 14th Avenues are treated?

Over the years, I have seen multiple buses get stuck at bus stops like the one located on 12th at Fillmore.

Unfortunately, to prevent this from happening, the RTD bus operator is forced to stop in the street and not pull to the curb. In turn, this then forces riders to have to navigate stepping down from the curb onto an icy street which can be crowned quite significantly.

Also, the unprotected bike lanes in Denver continue to be an issue getting them cleared of snow and ice.

I feel this is especially dangerous on the east and west running streets that are shaded by buildings like the 11th Avenue bike lane in Cap Hill, and the 12th Avenue bike lane in Congress Park.

I feel that it is crucial for DOTI to prioritize the RTD routes to be cleared of snow and ice, the same as roadways like 13th and 14th Avenues are prioritized.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Respectfully,
