Night Work Notification
Feb. 23 & March 2, 2026
Josephine & Colfax | Fillmore & Colfax
Dear Colfax Neighbor,
We’re reaching out to inform you of upcoming overnight work at Josephine Street and Fillmore Street along East Colfax Avenue as part of the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit project. Work includes delivery of station arches on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, and installation work on Monday, March 2, 2026, for the westbound Josephine and Fillmore stations.
To ensure public safety and minimize impacts to daytime traffic and businesses, this work will take place overnight between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., and closures will be required at both locations.
What closures will take place?
For the westbound Josephine station work, Colfax will be fully closed in both directions between Josephine and Columbine streets.
For the westbound Fillmore station work, Colfax will be fully closed between Detroit and Milwaukee streets. Alley access within this closure area will be temporarily restricted, and access from southbound Fillmore Street to Colfax Avenue will be closed during operations.
Detours will be in place to direct traffic around closures.
What work will happen at night?
- Monday, Feb. 23, 2026 | Bus station arch deliveries and prep work (westbound station work for Fillmore and Josephine)
- Monday, March 2, 2026 | Bus station arch installations (westbound station work for Fillmore and Josephine)
