It would be nice if you would reply to a single email that I sent to your office as my Councilmember...

Is this address better to communicate with?

A quick note of gratitude

(and what comes next)

Hi Bryan,

I wanted to send a quick, genuine thank-you.

Because of supporters like you, our campaign became one of the first in Denver’s 2027 election cycle to qualify for the city’s public matching program.

That’s exciting on its own. But here’s the part that means the most to me: more than 90% of the funds raised so far have come from Denver residents - the very people affected by the votes I cast on City Council.

I’ve committed to taking no money from corporations, PACs, or wealthy special interests. Citizens United might call corporations “people,” but they’re not the kind of people I accept money from.

So when I say this is a people-powered campaign, I truly mean it.

And right now, because we’ve qualified for the match, even a small grassroots gift goes further than ever: a $50 contribution from a Denver voter becomes $500.

As we head toward the March 31 deadline, I’m focused on keeping this momentum going, one neighbor at a time.

If you’re able, would you consider making a match-eligible donation today?

Thank you for being part of this.

Warmly,

Chris Hinds

Thank you for writing in!  We regularly forward your requests to parks/DOTI.  Those who fix sidewalks (in and out of parks), remove snow, install port-a-potties (in and out of parks), and install/maintain bike lanes are all in the executive branch - mostly Parks and DOTI.  While I can't tell them what to do, I definitely advocate for the many concerns you've shared over the years!
