JOIN THE COALITION!

This Convergence is one of the most grassroots and community based gatherings of Permaculture, Transition, Sustainable Farming, Agro-Forestry, Sustainable Development, and Applied Ecology communities on the West Coast. It is a strategic and collaborative gathering
that is bringing together an exceptional collective of individuals, organizations, and communities that together represent some of the core organizations practicing and teaching this way of life in the greater San Francisco Bay area, Northern California, the West Coast, and beyond.

Joint the Coalition as an affiliate, and help us spread the word about the Convergence on your website and to your contact list, and your organization will be featured on the Convergence website for the entire next calendar year.

HELP US BUILD A DIVERSE VILLAGE!

We understand that the work to build resilience and true sustainability requires diverse perspectives, and if it is to succeed, voices from front line communities and full representation. This year we have committed to a strong initiative at this Convergence to incorporate more representation from our diverse communities, especially prioritizing youth, leaders from communities of color and those from underserved communities.

Help the Transition and Permaculture movements take a giant leap forward toward bringing social equity and inclusivity to the forefront of our movements!
Please consider supporting our Diversity Scholarship Fund.

Your contribution – of any size – will go directly to providing small stipends and travel expenses to honor participation of leaders from under-served communities, as well as funding scholarships and transportation to make this gathering compelling and accessible for youth and participants from diverse communities.

Together we can build a more inclusive, thriving and resilient movement. We encourage you to contribute - every cent counts!

"Diversity is a core principle in creating living systems. That's why I'm glad the Permaculture community is working hard to include more people of color and youth at the upcoming Building Resilient Communities Convergence. Cultural diversity will lead to a better conference which will produce a more resilient movement."
