Subject: Looking for Intern in Environment Science/Engineering Program

Hi Angelo!

Long time no see or speak.  Hope all is well on your end.

I am reaching out to you because I am looking for an intern(or two) to immediately fill a position as a technician for Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP) at a jobsite located in Staten Island, NY.

The position entails air monitoring for particulates, VOCs, and submitting daily reports on jobsite activities.  The individual must be available for a daily shift from 7am-330pm with the flexibility to work late and Saturdays as needed or required. They also must be able to work 2-3 days per week or more.  The duration of the project is for at least the next 3 months and may go into the summer as well depending on the progress of the project.

The candidate must be organized, able to keep notes in a daily log book, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.  They must be able to get themselves to the job site on time everyday.

This is a paid position; hourly rate is based on experience and level of education.

Overall this is great experience for students looking to pursue a career in the consulting industry after college.

Please let me know if you have any students who may be interested. They can email me a copy of their resumes and  include a note what days they can be available during the week in the body of the email.

Thank you!
