Program Dates:
June 8, 2018 – June 29, 2018 (Summer I)
About this Program:
· Open to undergraduate and graduate students in any major
· All students will receive instruction in digital camera and lighting techniques, location sound recording for exterior/ interior environments, picture and sound editing.
· Participants will learn how to use cameras, sound, and editing software to address important issues such as climate change, global warming, and our oceans.
· Unique and exciting opportunity to work with Bangor University’s School of Creative Studies and Media, School of Ocean Sciences, and local fishermen.
· Visit Welsh historical and cultural sites, including hikes through the Snowdonia National Park
Program Cost:
· Program Fee: $3,895 (includes CISI health/travel insurance, program-related transportation in Wales, excursions, production costs and materials, housing, and all meals)
· Additional costs (out of pocket): Brooklyn College tuition and fees for three or six credits and International round-trip airfare to Wales ($600) · Estimated Totaled Basic Program Cost: $4,495, plus Brooklyn College tuition and fees for 3 or 6 credits. (Students taking 6 credits may qualify for Pell summer grants).
