I wish to bring to your notice the following:

I have discussed with Dr. Nchimbi, Director of UDEC regarding the meeting on the 12 November 2011.  She has tentatively confirmed her presence unless if any emergence issues may arise.  The venue at the UDEC from 11am because the venue will be in use from 2pm.  Shalin, I hope you will still be in your convenience.  Please let me know if any one will have different views.  However it is important to observe the conveniences of the venue and availability of Dr. Nchimbi

Dear All

It is great news that we are going to hold the next EASEN meeting at UDEC with the Director present and also Carlo Chege is thinking of also bring present at the meeting. This will help progress matters immensely and I am requesting that all members of the current group to please CONFIRM their attendance at this meeting especilly Alpha and Amos as we have not heard from you for a long time. It is vital for the next meeting that we know the strength of your commitment to contribute towards EASEN.

I would also encourage all members to read the minutes of the last meeting as there is a small matter of bringing TSH 100k to the next meeting to support the work of an intern. I have attached both the agenda of the next meeting and the minutes of the previous for your information.

I would like the views of the group on the following before the next meeting and urgently so -

1. Do you want anything else on the Agenda or change it in anyway?

2. Should we send an invitation to the next meeting to all the people who attended the talk that I did for MS on 13 Oct? We promoted EASEN at this event and some people were very keen to join EASEN and we did promote it to them at this event. Janeth can you check if Eric still wants to join?

I am very excited at the progress we could make if we all work jointly to promote EASEN and am looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

I have atached my comments on Notes for previous meeting. Please follow my comments in each issue discussed.

 

I also note about meeting of 12th November and i shall try to attend. We have key visits from UK and if i am not in the lead team, i will definitely attend the crucial meeting on 12th.

 

The Agenda is fine with me, but i thought we would have a ideas on EASEN draft Strategy/ business plan discussed. This strategy is core to enable us kick off any membership recruitmet / forecasting.
