Janet and all other interviewers, well done for the work done as planned.  I have gone through all the interviewees' responses.  They all sound fit, although for you, you know them better from the interviews but also you live with them and so you are better placed to advice.  Did you make selection? what about gender equality?.. was it considered?

Regarding my stolen laptop, I have failed completely to find it, however, I am working hard to work on the lost assignments and at the same time trying to recover the lost documents.  It is a hard work but I have no choice.

Good weekend for you all

Dear Mark & Janeth

It sounds like you managed to interview a good bunch of interns and well done for that and thanks for the hard work. Perhaps you have made a decision on the two you think fit the best with what we want? If so it would be great if you share their CV's with the rest of the group - I had a look at the docs in dropbox and there were only two CV's there the last time? I also fully agree with Specioza about gender balance and hope one of them was female.

I guess we now need to quickly develop a work plan and time line for them and supervisory structure. Any suggestions team?

best wishes

Shalin

I also looked at the list and I hope Mark and Janeth got the best. Much thanks to them for taking care and covering in for us.

I think the best thing to do is to have a workplan for EASEN Tanzania with clear set of activities and timelines say in next six months.

This will guide us to have some monthly and weekly milestones and key activities which will also have delegated tasks for interns level and clear show of whom they report to. I also guess there is a small budget for stipend for interns and paperwork.

Some of the clerical and desktop tasks could be; collecting data or information, membership recruitment, tasks during EASEN forums etc

Dear All

Amos is right that we do need to develop a clear set of milestones for the next six months for the interns and I guess this should mirror their strengths and skills. For the interview I suggested some indicators which could be used to assess the interns and these can also help form the outline workplan, namely -

- Fund raise and write small bid proposals e.g. to Vodacom

- Research into possible funding opportunities, social entrepreneurs database and expanding the network

- Plan and manage events e.g. the launch of EASEN tanzania

We will need to flesh out the actions and milestones under each of these broad headings but its a start. Please feel free to add or subtract.

On the issue of stipend, unless Carlos has a small budget we can use there isn't a budget. I am happy to contribute a small amount if all of us are willing to put in a bit (except for Janeth) and we really don't need that much do we? Does someone have any idea how much - perhaps we can prepare a small budget?

best wishes

Dear Shalin and all,

Yes the job was well done though I haven't had enough time to get back critically to Janeth but allow us to share our decision latest Tuesday then we can pick up from there.

Regards,
