Netx EASEN Meeting - Sat 12th Nov at 11 a.m. at UDEC

Further to my earlier email about the next meeting I still have not heard from mar and Alpha confirming their attendance.

I also suggested we widen the membership by inviting some of the people who were at the talk I gave. As I have not heard anything to the contrary I am going to send them all an invitation unless I hear from you otherwise by close of day today.

Amos many thanks for your helpful comments and I really hope you will be able to attend the meeting. If you are unable to come can you please send your TSH 100k with someone so we can collect at the meeting as agreed?

Carlo can you please confirm your own attendance and any items for the Agenda.

It is great news that we are going to hold the next EASEN meeting at UDEC with the Director present and also Carlo Chege is thinking of also bring present at the meeting. This will help progress matters immensely and I am requesting that all members of the current group to please CONFIRM their attendance at this meeting especilly Alpha and Amos as we have not heard from you for a long time. It is vital for the next meeting that we know the strength of your commitment to contribute towards EASEN.

I would also encourage all members to read the minutes of the last meeting as there is a small matter of bringing TSH 100k to the next meeting to support the work of an intern. I have attached both the agenda of the next meeting and the minutes of the previous for your information.

I would like the views of the group on the following before the next meeting and urgently so -

1. Do you want anything else on the Agenda or change it in anyway?

2. Should we send an invitation to the next meeting to all the people who attended the talk that I did for MS on 13 Oct? We promoted EASEN at this event and some people were very keen to join EASEN and we did promote it to them at this event. Janeth can you check if Eric still wants to join?

I am very excited at the progress we could make if we all work jointly to promote EASEN and am looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Its been a bit hectic on my side but I have taken a careful look into the discussions! Kindly count me in and I hope I will make it early enough since I will be in Zanzibar till 11th November and planning to catch the first boat so that I can be there!
