I have made available for download a dump from the San Francisco
database.

http://code.google.com/p/eas/downloads/detail?name=mad-1_0-prod.backup&can=2&q=

I have also updated the root README to include this information to
help folks get started.

All,

I forgot to upload about the database that is used by geoserver to
provide maps to EAS.
To resolve this I just now uploaded a pg_dump of our sfmaps database
available here:
http://code.google.com/p/eas/downloads/detail?name=sfmaps.backup&can=2&q=
As with the other database dump this is just for demonstrations and
evaluations.

The SF implementation has separated the map provider from the
application - for reasons which we can discuss elsewhere.
This means 2 separate databases, one for the application and one for
the maps.
Here is a picture:

In any event, sorry about the over sight - I hope this has not slowed
progress for anyone.

Regards,
Paul

Forgot to say....
an alternative to setting up geoserver and using the sfmaps DB (for
your demo) is to use another map service provider
provider such as google maps or arcgis server or whatever service you
want that openlayers 2.7 supports.

You would have to change code here:
Media/js/MAD/config/resources.js - geoUrls
but it is likely that you have to refactor the javascript a bit or
hack in another change somewhere in here:
Media/js/MAD/widgets/MAD-widgets-Map.js

We did not spend any time to make the swapping of map providers easy
at the top level (Media/js/MAD/config/resources.js)
This will be relatively easy to do - we just have not a reason.
