Earthworm email alert

Hi all,

Earthworm is working perfectly in our system, it detects, locates and create html message and reports, but still the email alert won't be sent to the recipient. Here is what I got in ewhtmlemail_20240507.log for one the recent event:

20240507_UTC_20:59:45 ewhtmlemail: processing  email alerts.

20240507_UTC_20:59:45 ewhtmlemail: email sent to ??????, passed tests

20240507_UTC_20:59:45 ewhtmlemail: Debug; EmailCommand issued 'cat ../data/web/ewhtmlemail/em_header.tmp ../data/web/ewhtmlemail/em_20396.html | /usr/sbin/sendmail -t '

20240507_UTC_20:59:45 ewhtmlemail: Completed processing of event id: 20396

UTC date changed; log output continues in file <ewhtmlemail_20240508.log>

Any idea, what could be the problem?

Ps. ??????? is a substituted for the email address, but I have a real email address there.

Hi Zoya,

This sounds like a sendmail issue. You will need to check the sendmail mail logs for the problem on the out going mail failure there if there were no errors in the ewhtmlemail.

Also, the google static chart that showed the waveforms is now very broken (they deprecated the service for good), and we have a solution that we will announce shortly.
