Template for TCP communication

Hi guys, I have a custom digitizer with seedlink and data port available: seedlink server on port 18000 for seismic data, data server on different port for SOH.

I would like to write custom module collecting SOH data from device and display values on Swarm as a seismic waves.
I took a look to slink2ew about managing TCP connection but it is too complicated for my level, is there available a more simple Earthworm module to collect data from TCP server to take as template?
