I just switched earthworm to a new computer running Windows 10 and ew7.9, and am having some problems. The computer has the same I.P. and ports, and I'm using the same parameter files.
1) The Webtronics digitizer is blinking 3 times per second. What does this mean? (I can't find any info on the web).
2) Adsend status shows as "NoExec"
3) Waveserver listens for a bit, then quits.
4) Statmgr gives log message: "statmgr msg from unknown module (statmgr doesn't have a .desc file for this one)"
Hints on how to diagnose what's wrong?
Thanks...... -=- Robert Clayton -=-

Thanks for the help, Larry!
Solved those problems, still have others:
Sniffwave shows I'm recording data correctly, but Swarm can't show any data and it's not being exported. I've checked that the correct ports are set up for incoming and outgoing data and I.P. addresses are correct. I can ping the computer with no data loss from inside and outside our university network.
eqproc dies with log file error "eqproc: Output pipe error; exiting"
And so eqbuf logs the error "
Stefan,
here's what heli's error says:
Here's waveservV.log:
Here's sniffwave:
**********************
WaveserverV.d with some comments omitted:
Okay, some progress, but still can't view data. No errors in export log (to Montana).
Made the suggested changes, here's sniffwave:
Here's waveserverV.log, now creating tanks (I had a typo in the tanks directory path):

Swarm still can't connect and show CMI's waves. It is looking for Earthworm server, as suggested.
Update: Success!
Just have to check with Mike Stickney that he's receiving CMI data.
Thanks to all!
