Seismic Software Administrator.

ISTI seeks a Seismic System Administrator. Someone who can build a Linux system from scratch and deploy scientific seismic software on that system. Add seismic stations to data acquisition, and deploy configurations using Ansible and Gitlab repositories.

Required Qualifications:
Must have good interpersonal communication skills, be
self-motivated and capable of problem-solving, both
individually (unsupervised) and as a team member. Highly
organized and strong attention to details and
documentation.

- Knowledge of MiniSEED
- Knowledge of StationXML
- Ansible
- Gitlab/Github/ Version Control Systems
Location
The candidate will preferably be located near Saratoga Springs, NY, although remote position will be considered. The position is preferred to be filled as a full-time employee with salary commensurate with experience. ISTI offers excellent health and retirement benefits.
