Seisan - Ew

Hi I am looking into reviewing ew events with seisan.
I am using ew7.5 on win7 machine.
I have a 2 different trig2disk one creating sac and another seisan files.
I was looking into the seisan_report module, but could not get much on the internet.
Since trig2disk creates the seisan files is seisan report still necessary?

Also when I try seisan_report I get the following error.
seisan_report: startup at UTC_20150617_01:47:30
This program is using the non-MT-Safe version of logit.

I dont; see this TYPE_EVENT_ALARM anywhere in my seisan_report..d oor .desc files.

Any help will be appreciated.
I am sending the trig2disk and seisan_report files.

Hi Marck,

Thanks for the query to the forum. The seisan_report from version 7.5 had some bugs, so make sure you get the one from SVN and use that. The TYPE_EVENT_ALARM is a message that was special to seisan_report when the British Geological Survey folks wrote this module. We will add it to the earthworm.d file for the 7.8 release, but you can just add in the line to your file:

 Message  TYPE_EVENT_ALARM   120

 

Add that after the last message in the earthworm.d file.

What seisan_report does for you is it gets you the S-file which contains the automated picks made by Earthworm as well as any magnitude amplitudes and coda measurements.
