EwA invites you to the first annual memorial walk honoring our dear friend and benefactor, Daniel Onea—known to us as Dan. 📅 March 16 | 9:30 AM 📍 Deer Island (details on Eventbrite) Dan was a keen observer, skilled photographer, and devoted naturalist. To celebrate his legacy, we’ll gather at one of his favorite sites to explore and document nature with the same care and curiosity he did—expect plenty of coastal wildlife, especially birds! Dan’s generosity continues to shape EwA’s mission. In his memory, we invite you to support the EwA Onea Ecology Internship and EwA Onea Research Fellowship. Following the walk, those interested can gather for lunch nearby to share stories and strengthen our community. We hope you’ll join us in honoring Dan’s legacy. ⓘ Why do we limit attendance?
