In case you missed Mike's shout-out about Madeline and Ava in our EwA's last newsletter, this summer, we're hosting two university interns: Madeline and Ava. Join us in welcoming them! Madeline Logan, an environmental studies and studio art major at Brandeis University, is one of EwA's summer interns. She is interested in the intersection between art and the act of biological discovery. She brings a love for the beautiful world around us, a passion for geological mapping tools like GIS, and much more to EwA, and we're so happy to have her aboard this summer! Ava Isarankura, a Tufts University mathematics and environmental science major, is also interning with EwA this summer. She grew to love the biodiversity surrounding us all when growing up in Seattle, WA. The combination of mathematics and environmental science has led her to specialize in environmental data, and we're thrilled to have her working with us!
Both of our interns bring invaluable skills that will help them make lasting contributions to some of EwA's many projects. Welcome, Madeline and Ava, from all of us at EwA!
