Hi EwA friends!

Earthwise Aware, in partnership with many other Somerville environmental groups, is marching in the Honk Parade under an "Earth For All" banner. Please join us if you can!

Date: Sunday, October 12th
Where: parade route starts from Davis Square in Somerville, ending at Harvard Square (at an Oktoberfest celebration, if that entices you).
Time: The parade typically starts at noon, and we gather about an hour ahead to prepare. We usually arrive in Harvard Square ~2pm. Note: It might start at 1pm this year, and I will send an update as soon as we hear.

This is a free form event: fun, celebratory, and uplifting. There will be a float made of native plants with people dressed as pollinators, plants, and depavers. We will be giving away native plant seeds. Come in costume if you like. Everyone is welcome!

It will be helpful for us to know approximately how many people to expect. So, if you can join, please fill out this form.

Hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Jennifer 🌳

Hi EwA community!

A friendly reminder that Earthwise Aware, in partnership with many other Somerville environmental groups, is marching in the Honk Parade under an "Earth For All" banner. Please join us if you can!

Date: Sunday, October 12th, parade starts at 12pm
Where: parade route starts from Davis Square in Somerville, ending at Harvard Square (at an Oktoberfest celebration, if that entices you) at ~2pm.

We will gather to start getting ready at 11am in the large parking lot near Flatbread Pizza, 45 Day St. If you are driving, there is free street parking available on Sundays, or you can take public transport into Davis Sq. When the parade is over, you can take the red line from Harvard Sq back to Davis Sq.

This is a free form event with costumes and music. It will be fun and celebratory. Folks will be dressed as pollinators, plants, and depavers. We will be giving away native plant seeds and sharing information about invasive species. Come in costume if you like. Everyone is welcome!

If you'd like to join, please fill out this form so we know how many to expect.

Reach out with any questions. Hope to see you there!

Jennifer
