Hi EwA Friends! It’s my pleasure to present the EwA Library, an digital repository for articles, books, research papers, and other web-accessible media for our community’s reading, learning, and enjoyment! Kate D., Claire, and I have worked to curate and organize this library based on our areas of expertise—such as participatory science, phenology, entomology, habitat fragmentation, and invasive species—while also exploring topics like the intersection of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and Western science. Our goal is for this library to serve as a hub where we can share resources, exchange knowledge, and inspire one another by sharing reading recommendations and gathering research gems like the references Kate used for her TEK article. This library is a work in progress, but it’s also meant to be a living, changing, growing space. There’s always something new to learn—as individuals, as a community, and definitely for me as a librarian—so please reach out if you have suggestions for improving the library as you use it! And if you read or watch something you feel that the EwA community would benefit from or enjoy, please share your library recommendations in a post in the EwA Google forum (tag me! 😊), on the EwA Slack, or send an email to lib...@earthwiseaware.org. Let’s keep building our knowledge base together! |
