We are proud to release the 2023 EwA Biodiversity Digest (Series: Biodiversity in a Year) > here.
We're so excited to share the fruits of EwA's biodiversity participatory science work with you and to continue again this year!
Don't miss the photo album of some of our favorite 2023 records. There are quite a few fantastic visuals that we did capture in the field, including a busy leafcutter bee foraging on a ragweed flower, a romantic Eastern garter snake, a proud white-throated sparrow, an orange sallow moth caterpillar feeding and its host fruit, a delicate foliose lichen, a vivid purple slime mold, a group of king penguins guarding their youngs, a gold-marked thread-waisted wasp, bright vermillion waxcaps, a common candy-striped spider wrapping an Asian lady beetle, a colorful green-winged teal, and even a magnificent blackback mountain gorilla (yes, you heard that right!)
Of course, we also report essential data, explain our biodiversity-focused program, and who the participatory scientists behind the data are.
Throughout the winter months, keep an eye on the EwA Conservation Reports portal > here. And see EwA's digests as we release them.
Enjoy this year's EwA Biodiversity Digest ツ Join our effort!
