Earthwise Aware invites you to join us for the first annual memorial walk in honor of our dear friend and benefactor, Daniel Onea—known to us as Dan. Dan was a beloved and astute naturalist, a keen observer, and an excellent photographer. To celebrate his legacy, we will gather at one of his favorite sites to document the beauty of nature with the same care and curiosity he did. Expect to encounter many coastal species, especially birds! This day offers an opportunity to remember Dan through shared stories, reflection, and the practice of the skills he valued. Dan’s generosity and passion for EwA continue to shape what is possible for our organization. In his memory, we invite you to support EwA’s mission, ensuring his legacy endures. Donations will contribute to the development of the EwA Onea Ecology Internship and the EwA Onea Research Fellowship. Following the walk, those who wish to may gather for lunch nearby—taking time to connect, share joy, and strengthen the heart of our community. |
